Online giant is using Taggstar over multiple digital sales channels to engage and convert its Black Friday shoppers. is using our social proof messages to show its Black Friday 2019 shoppers real-time data about what's trending and selling fast over the bumper sale weekend.

Already live, the 'Going Fast' messages on its homepage highlight Very's best-selling products, to engage customers and to help them to make smarter (and faster) buying decisions. It's a important way to engage and convert shoppers over the frantic Black Friday sales weekend, and to help them to avoid missing out on the most popular deals.

Very is a true social proof innovator, and as part of the Shop Direct Group, we've been working with the retailer since 2013. It has extended its social proof use and now uses Taggstar to convert and sell on a number of channels.

This summer we also announced that Very now features real-time trend and sales data in its dynamic email campaigns using Movable Ink. As you'd expect, engagement rates have been cracking. Its latest test saw a 41% increase to the click-through rate on products which displayed social proof messaging, in a weekly men’s segmented email to 80,000 subscribers.

Over Black Friday 2018 our social proof messages were added to its out-of-home (OOH) digital display (in a world first innovation), showing product sales trends at high streets across the UK.

Taggstar has supported some of the largest retailers since 2013, and this is our seventh Black Friday event. In fact in 2018, our social proof messaging platform scored 100% availability and handling some 1,800 API request every second at the peak of last year's sale.
